The orthopaedic emergency department at Hirslanden Clinic Birshof is the central point of contact for the emergency care of patients with injuries or acute complaints of the musculoskeletal system. As part of the new Department of Acute, Intermediate Care and Perioperative Medicine (AIPM), the area is closely networked with the inpatient and perioperative treatment pathways of the clinic and works interdisciplinarily with attending physicians, anaesthesia, general internal medicine, nursing, radiology and other specialist departments.

YOUR TASKS
- You are responsible for the specialist care and treatment of patients in orthopaedic emergencies
- You conduct assessments, evaluations, initial treatments and dispositions in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Close collaboration with attending physicians to ensure further treatment pathways
- Support of assistant physicians in clinical daily routine
- Participation in ensuring high-quality, efficient and patient-oriented care
- Active involvement in the regular service operation of the orthopaedic emergency department
YOUR PROFILE
- You hold a specialist title in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System, Surgery or General Internal Medicine or are about to obtain it
- Experience in emergency medicine, acute medicine or traumatology is an advantage
- You work in a structured, independent and team-oriented manner
- You bring a high level of patient orientation and quality awareness
- You appreciate interdisciplinary collaboration in a dynamic clinical environment
- You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
