Your mission

Within the functional unit of medical coding, attached to the Patient Administrative Management (GAP) service, you will play a key role in the quality and accuracy of hospitalization coding. Your activity is framed by strict regulations, according to the directives of the Federal Office of Statistics (OFS).

Your mission:

• Ensure the medical coding of hospital activity in compliance with the current SwissDRG and ST-REHA classifications.
• Collect, verify, and validate all necessary information for rigorous and compliant medical coding according to standards.
• Analyze clinical data to accurately determine the required medical codes.
• Effectively manage exchanges and correspondence with insurance organizations related to medical coding.
• Process and follow up on internal requests related to coding, ensuring a responsive service that complies with procedures.
• Provide occasional support to other activities of the service as needed.

Your assets

• Training in medical coding.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent training.
• Federal diploma in medical coding, an asset.
• Professional experience in medical coding, an asset.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Ability to work independently, rigorously, and in an organized manner.
• Very good command of spoken and written French.
• Proficiency in common office tools.
