Risk and Due Diligence Manager - Corporate Procurement (a) 100%
As Risk and Due Diligence Manager (a), you are responsible for holistic risk and due diligence management in Corporate Procurement. You identify, assess, control and monitor risks along the entire supply chain and develop sustainable approaches for prevention, early detection, response and resilience. At the same time, you continuously develop governance and compliance structures to ensure organisational resilience in the long term.
- Overall responsibility for managing and further developing end-to-end risk analyses and assessments along the purchasing portfolio, supplier base and supply chain
- Derivation, prioritisation and implementation of risk mitigation measures including effectiveness control
- Design and implementation of integrated processes (prevention, early detection, response, resilience) including crisis management
- Establishment and further development of risk and due diligence structures in Corporate Procurement
- Consulting and enabling stakeholders as well as conducting training sessions
- Preparation of decision-relevant analyses and management reports as well as further development of methods, standards and tools to strengthen a future-oriented risk and due diligence management
You have a completed degree (engineering, supply chain management or similar) as well as a specialisation in supply chain risk management / due diligence.
In addition, you are characterised by the following skills:
- Several years (6-8 years) of experience in purchasing & supply chain management, including risk and due diligence management (ideally international)
- Sound knowledge in risk and due diligence management along global supply chains as well as confident handling of established risk assessment frameworks (e.g. heat maps / risk matrices, business continuity planning (BCP), FMEA, ISO 31000)
- Good knowledge of relevant ESG regulations (including EU CSDDD, CSRD, LkSG, REACH, EUDR)
- Strong analytical, conceptual and structured working style
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (including senior management)
- Experience in introducing new governance structures, processes and standards in international corporate environments is an advantage
- Very good German and English skills (both C1), additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 10-20%)
