The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy, and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates a hospital and an affiliated care centre each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees provide elderly people with a regionally unique comprehensive care service ranging from acute medicine through rehabilitation to transitional and long-term care. Speech therapy is firmly integrated into the treatment of our elderly patients by the interdisciplinary team in our hospital. The focus is on acute medical treatment as well as holistic rehabilitation for medical conditions, including neurorehabilitation.

Your Tasks
- Speech therapy diagnostics and treatment of dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, and dysphonia in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Co-responsibility for assessing the overall situation and treatment of patients within the interprofessional team
- Treatment of acute geriatric, acute inpatient, and rehabilitation patients with conditions from the fields of geriatrics, internal medicine, surgery, and neurology (including tracheotomised patients in long-term care), as well as ENT-specific cases.
- Advising relatives and caregivers
- Documentation of findings and electronic progress records as well as service recording
- Constructive interdisciplinary and professional collaboration
Your Profile
- Completed training as a certified speech therapist (EDK-recognised or with EDK recognition)
- Initial professional experience in the clinical field, ideally in inpatient geriatrics
- Dynamic, team-oriented, and resilient personality who constructively shapes collaboration in the lively hospital environment
- Enjoyment and interest in working with elderly people
- Independent and networked way of working
- Good PC skills for documentation
