What do you bring?

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ with a focus on system technology/platform development or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience as an IT System Engineer, System Administrator or in a comparable role
• Sound knowledge of current server and client operating systems such as Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Linux and macOS
• Very good knowledge in the Microsoft environment, especially Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Entra ID and Intune
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP as well as user and permission management
• Knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V or comparable platforms
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud is an advantage
• Good knowledge of network technologies such as TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, WLAN and firewalls
• Experience with backup, recovery and disaster recovery solutions
• High reliability, communication skills, independence and flexibility
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
• Driving licence category B
• Willingness for occasional assignments and travel within Switzerland

About this position

• Handling and resolving demanding 2nd-level support requests and technical faults
• Analysis and troubleshooting of server, client, network and cloud systems
• Remote and on-site support at our customers
• Operation, monitoring and optimisation of server, network and cloud infrastructures
• Administration and further development of Microsoft 365 environments
• Participation in IT projects, migrations and infrastructure renewals
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and solution descriptions
• Further development and optimisation of our IT and cloud services
