About the job
At Wallisellen School, around 1,700 children and young people are taught by approximately 220 teachers across six school facilities and various decentralised kindergartens. Part of this is the Mösli Primary School.The long-established QUIMS school comprises eight middle school, six lower school, and four kindergarten classes. A dedicated and well-mixed team is guided by shared principles, embraces diversity, and implements the school prevention programme Denk-Wege.
To complement our approximately 60 staff members, we are immediately seeking a school assistant for 1:1 support in the lower school, with daily work deployment. The position, approximately 25% - 40%, is limited until the end of December 2026. An extension is not excluded.
Your main tasks
▪ Individual support and assistance for a child in everyday school life
▪ Support during transitions between lessons, breaks, remedial offerings, and other school activities
▪ Providing orientation in daily school life
▪ Close collaboration with teachers and school specialists
▪ Responsible and reliable handling of challenging situations
▪ Care and supervision
You bring
▪ Very good German skills (native speaker preferred)
▪ Preferably professional experience in childcare or similar
▪ Joy and commitment in working with children and teachers
▪ Flexibility and composure in demanding situations
