About the job
The Hospitals of Schaffhausen include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. Additionally, we are an important training institution in the canton.
For our interdisciplinary emergency centre, we are looking for a committed clinical emergency physician.
In the interdisciplinary emergency centre of the Cantonal Hospital Schaffhausen, we care for over 30,000 patients annually – adults and children alike – comprehensively and at a high medical standard.

What You Bring to Us
- Interdisciplinary focus in Clinical Emergency Medicine (SGNOR) or close to achieving it
- Ideally experience in a senior physician role in interdisciplinary clinical emergency medicine
- Commitment and motivation for clinical work of high medical quality
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration in a team-oriented environment
- Teaching and mentoring learners is a core concern
- Interest in taking on corresponding development and leadership tasks to further develop the emergency centre
