• Design, development and further enhancement of databases and scalable data architectures for AI applications
• Development, enhancement and operation of data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Development of suitable solutions for data storage, data integration as well as batch and streaming processing
• Preparation and provision of data as a basis for AI applications
• Application of AI and machine learning methods for data analysis and development of data-driven solutions
• Integration of data and ML solutions into existing software and system landscapes via APIs and services
• Collaboration in data governance, data lifecycle management as well as data access and security concepts

• Completed training in computer science, data science or a comparable field, or career changer with equivalent practical experience
• Several years of experience in building and implementing complex data-driven solutions
• Sound knowledge of relational databases, object stores and vector databases
• Very good knowledge in data engineering, especially in data modelling, data integration, data pipelines and storage technologies
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes-based environments and enterprise storage, especially NetApp
• Independent, analytical and solution-oriented working style
• Fluent German skills; English skills (level B2) advantageous
• Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer advantageous
