Our client, based in Eastern Switzerland, is an internationally active, established company with a strong presence in the industrial sector specialising in electronic solutions.

Due to a planned retirement within the well-established purchasing team, we are looking for a professionally competent and committed individual who would like to take over the succession in this central position.
- Order processing, monitoring delivery dates, correspondence with the plants, and approval of creditor invoices
- Price and condition negotiations with international suppliers are part of your daily business
- Active supplier management, including selection, development, and sustainable expansion of international supplier relationships
- Planning and conducting supplier visits as well as supplier audits to ensure quality, cost, and performance targets
- Several years of professional experience as a buyer with negotiation skills in industrial purchasing (mechanics, electronics)
- Further education in purchasing (e.g. purchasing specialist FA) is a great advantage
- Solid language skills in German and English, both spoken and written
- Good IT skills; MS Office and ERP system

Profile
- Technical basic training with experience in a technical environment and commercial further education- Several years of professional experience as a buyer with negotiation skills in industrial purchasing (mechanics, electronics)
- Further education in purchasing (e.g. purchasing specialist FA) is a great advantage
- Solid language skills in German and English, both spoken and written
- Good IT skills; MS Office and ERP system
