Presentation
The Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne invites applications for the position of FND Researcher to work within the field of applied anti-tumor immunoglobulin discovery and engineering. The LAbCore platform comprises a fully integrated in vitro immunoglobulin discovery and research capability that is strategically positioned within a translational immune-oncology environment. Working collaboratively with both fundamental and applied research groups and organizations, LAbCore aims to exploit both existing and novel paradigms for the generation of advanced anti-tumor molecules with strong anti-tumor therapeutic/theranostic potential.

Your responsibilities
- Conduct molecular biological procedures for the construction, manipulation and characterization of immunoglobulin phage display libraries.
- Implement phage display selection and screening cascades against diverse recombinant tumor antigen targets.
- Assist in the generation of high-quality NGS profiling data sets and liaise with computer-aided molecular engineers.
- Transfect and culture mammalian cells for the expression of protein antigens and immunoglobulin fragments for use in validatory assays.
- Contribute to the maintenance of an efficient, compliant, and well-functioning discovery platform laboratory.
- Participate in the writing and preparation of operating protocols, reports and publications.

Your qualifications
- Strong Masters or PhD qualification in Biotechnology, Protein Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or equivalent.
- >3 years of post-qualification laboratory experience in the field of bio-molecular discovery.
- Hands-on experience of at least one in vitro library-based display technology.
- Some experience of NGS data generation and handling would be advantageous.
- Proven ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Capable of working independently and to project deadlines.
- Experience with database sequence analysis software and molecular biology/proteomics research tools.
- Good level of spoken and written English is essential.
