Purpose of the Role
The Project Manager Facility is responsible for the planning, control, and implementation of new construction, conversion, and infrastructure projects at the Haag site. By coordinating internal and external project participants and ensuring schedule, cost, and quality targets, the position contributes to the sustainable development of the operational infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate new construction and conversion projects at the site.
Develop, plan, and manage infrastructure projects including site management, cost planning, and controlling.
Design and further develop HVAC projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Create concept drafts and coordinate planning with external specialist planners.
Support building permit procedures in cooperation with external planning offices.
Plan and coordinate construction schedules considering operational requirements and project goals.
Manage and coordinate trades including construction, HVAC, electrical, MSR, cleanroom technology, and fire protection.
Conduct tenders and participate in the awarding process together with central purchasing.
Monitor construction execution regarding deadlines, costs, and quality.
Organise inspections, handle defects, and ensure successful handover to users.
Take on on-call duties for technical alarms and emergencies within the team.
Qualifications
Completed technical training, for example as an installer EFZ, HVAC planner, mechanical engineer, or in a comparable discipline.
Further training in building technology or a related discipline.
Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
Willingness for continuous professional development.
Several years of professional experience in building, construction, or infrastructure technology.
Experience in planning, managing, and implementing technical projects.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as enthusiasm for developing new solutions.
Assertiveness, negotiation skills, and a structured and goal-oriented working style.
High flexibility, openness to new challenges, and a strong service orientation.
Excellent communication and coordination skills in dealing with various stakeholders.
