Head of Population Services 80 – 100 %
We look forward to tackling this exciting task together with you and are looking for a candidate for the newly created position starting July 1, 2026,
What are your tasks:
- Organizational, personnel, and professional management of the Population Services department with direct leadership of the Presidential & Culture division as well as the Civil Registry Office and Resident Control divisions, each with a division head
- Ensuring – and actively participating in – smooth coordination of daily business as well as compliance with quality and deadlines
- Preparation and coordination of applications, reports, and presentations for municipal council meetings and community assemblies
- Assistance in supervising apprentices in the Presidential & Culture division
- Further development of internal processes, optimization of workflows, and setting impulses for modern, service-oriented administrative work
- Further development and establishment of cultural tasks and concerns within the community
- Close collaboration with the municipal clerk to ensure the implementation of strategic goals
What you bring with you:
- A completed education at FH/HF level
- Several years of experience in an interface or leadership role, preferably within public administration
- Strong assertiveness as well as pronounced organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
- A confident, convincing appearance and the ability to navigate confidently between politics, administration, and the public
- An appreciative, clear, and motivating leadership style – you lead people at eye level
- A structured, independent, and solution-oriented working method, even in demanding situations
- Enjoyment in taking responsibility and actively further developing your area, especially since this role was newly created
