The Municipality of Montreux is advertising two positions for:

Main tasks:

• Lead and manage the activity of socio-educational assistant aides, ensuring the quality and efficiency of services, and guaranteeing the smooth running of the structure
• Take charge of children during meals, leisure times and journeys between school and the midday care facilities
• Propose educational and appropriate activities between the end of the meal and the return to school
• Manage the equipment and budget allocated for the operation of the structure
• Participate in various meetings and conferences organised by the management
• Work in collaboration with families
• Comply with directives regarding the cleanliness of premises (cleaning after meals, washing up, etc.)

Desired profile:

• Federal certificate of capacity as a socio-educational assistant or equivalent training
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a collective childcare setting, for children aged 4 to 9 years
• Sense of responsibility, team spirit and collaboration
• Ease with children with special needs
• Experience in managing a small team
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Interpersonal skills and ability to show firmness
• Dynamism, creativity and initiative
• Good physical condition
• Comfort with numbers
• Sense of public service
• Proficiency with MS Office computer tools

Special conditions:

• Extracts from the Swiss criminal record and special criminal record to be provided upon hiring

Start date: one position on 1 October 2026 and one position on 1 November 2026.
