About the job
The EFAJE is a network that brings together 31 municipalities from the Gros-de-Vaud district and surrounding areas wishing to unite their efforts to manage and develop quality day care services in order to better meet the needs of their citizens. To date, three sectors are represented: Family Day Care, which includes around sixty family-based carers, nine preschool structures, and nineteen after-school structures. We are looking, for an indefinite period, for a:
Childcare Educator at 96%
The position is located at the Perlimpinpin Daycare in Bettens, a facility with a capacity of 44 places. The position concerns the toddler group.
Your missions:
- Ensure quality support for the children cared for, guaranteeing their well-being and safety in accordance with the institutional project and current regulations.
- Implement the institution's educational project and collaborate with colleagues and management.
- Foster a quality and communicative relationship with families and external services.
Your profile:
You are capable of developing reflective action on issues related to the quality of care, carrying out relevant and effective actions that will be deployed responsibly and committedly. With a good team spirit, your interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and demonstrate diplomacy, as well as your adaptability, make you a real asset to the team. Naturally calm, you are also proactive and open-minded. Holder of a tertiary ES/HES diploma or equivalent, you have Swiss nationality or a valid residence permit, as well as a clean criminal record.
