Job Description
Looking for a new HR challenge? Join the Human Resources Unit (HRU) of the Directorate General for Social Cohesion (DGCS), an agile and committed team of 14 colleagues and one apprentice, and actively contribute to our projects as a Human Resources Advisor.
Responsibilities
- Advise and support managers and employees on HR topics.
- Substitute and assist the Deputy and the HR Manager.
- Conduct recruitment processes for employees and managers of the DGCS in collaboration with the hierarchical line.
- Manage the follow-up of training requests in compliance with HR regulations, organisational priorities, fairness of treatment and budgetary constraints, while contributing to skills development and succession management.
- Act as the health and safety at work correspondent and manage long-term absence situations.

Qualifications
- Federal diploma as a human resources specialist or Bachelor/Master in human sciences, psychology or business administration required.
- Additional training in project management and/or recruitment desired.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in human resources, including at least 3 years in HR consulting and/or recruitment. Strong knowledge of HR standards in the Vaud Cantonal Administration (ACV) is an asset.
- Proven writing skills.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Strong interest in numbers, indicators and IT tools.
- Ease in human contacts, diplomacy and absolute discretion.
- Proactivity, rigour and strong client orientation.
- Tenacity and stress resistance.
- Excellent organisational skills and very good priority management.
- Strong sense of collaboration and mutual support.
- Agile mindset and ability to adapt flexibly to change.
