The Migration Office operates daily in the exciting political environment of all migration issues. We are responsible for foreign nationals' permits, implement the federal foreign nationals and asylum law, issue biometric Swiss passports and foreign nationals' identity cards, and provide care and integration in our asylum centres.
The Migration Office is looking for a
Team Leader Initial Integration and Education (m/f/d)
for the Sonneblick Asylum Centre in Walzenhausen/AR from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement
Workload: 80-100%
Workplace: Walzenhausen/AR
What to expect
- You lead the Initial Integration and Education department both professionally and personally and develop it further together with your team
- You coordinate and accompany the integration and educational offers for adults and children in the centre
- You work in the centre's management team and actively contribute to the further development of concepts, processes, and offers
- You maintain collaboration with authorities, educational partners, placement companies, as well as other internal and external stakeholders
- Additionally, you take on operational tasks in adult education or the initial integration area and stay close to practice
What distinguishes you
- You have completed vocational or tertiary education in the social, pedagogical, or agogic field and have several years of leadership experience
- You have experience in one or more of the areas of migration, education, integration, or care
- You have a positive view of people, lead strength-oriented and on an equal footing, and know how to inspire and develop people with your energy and clear attitude
- You work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and keep an overview even in demanding situations
- Good IT user skills and foreign language skills complete your profile
