Role:
You manufacture demanding precision turned parts on modern CNC machines, ensuring consistently high quality and on-time production. With your experience in CNC machining, you independently set up, equip and operate the Okuma machines and resolve malfunctions during ongoing operations. Through your technical understanding and active participation in process improvements, you make an important contribution to the further development of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
Independent operation and monitoring of Okuma brand CNC lathes
Manufacture of complex precision components according to production orders, drawings and specifications
Ensuring the required quantity, deadline and quality targets
Setting up and equipping machines including professional tool changes
Performing measurements and quality controls during manufacturing
Checking components based on technical drawings as well as form and positional tolerances
Detecting, analysing and rectifying machine malfunctions
Carrying out maintenance and servicing work to ensure equipment availability
Active participation in the optimisation of manufacturing processes and workflows
Performing work in a fixed permanent late shift model
Qualifications:
Completed technical vocational training EFZ, ideally as a polymechanic or equivalent
Experience in operating and setting up Okuma CNC machines
Knowledge of the Okuma OSP control system
Professional experience in machining demanding precision parts
Confident handling of measuring and testing equipment as well as experience in reading technical drawings
Understanding of form and positional tolerances as well as quality-oriented manufacturing processes
Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style
High quality awareness and pronounced accuracy
Team-oriented personality with good communication skills
Fluent German language skills
