About the job
What is my role?
Our client requires you for the production of mechanical precision components based on technical drawings and 3D volume models
You programme and optimise CNC programmes for efficient and highly precise machining
You create and maintain the necessary process documentation
You set up manufacturing machines and carry out production runs
You prepare tools and operating resources for upcoming production orders
You inspect manufactured parts with suitable measuring instruments and ensure compliance with all tolerances
You start production orders and record feedback in the ERP system
You contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
You perform scheduled maintenance work and independently resolve minor mechanical faults
You work closely with production planning and quality assurance and report deviations from the standard process
What do I need to be successful?
Our client is looking for a person with a completed vocational training as a polymechanic EFZ
You have solid experience in CNC manufacturing, especially in turning and milling
You bring knowledge in handling CAM software and CNC controls, for example Heidenhain, Fanuc or Siemens
You are proficient in the use of measuring instruments and familiar with the requirements of quality assurance
You can confidently read technical drawings and implement them in practice
You are characterised by a reliable, independent and structured way of working
You possess a strong quality and sense of responsibility
You have good PC skills and experience with Office applications
You are a team player, quality-oriented and open to new technologies such as automation and digitalisation
You show flexibility in working on different machines according to operational requirements
