What is my role?
In this position, you operate and programme modern CNC lathes of the Okuma brand. The programmes are mainly created directly at the machine, with MasterCAM also being used occasionally. The tasks include setting up the machines as well as precisely adjusting the tools. The production of high-quality turned parts is carried out according to technical drawings, with the production process continuously monitored to ensure the quality of the workpieces. In addition, initial and final inspections are conducted.
What do I need to be successful?
A completed apprenticeship as a polymechanic and essential experience in CNC turning are required. Ideally, knowledge of Okuma machines is already present. The ability to programme at the machine is expected, while knowledge of MasterCAM is advantageous. The sought-after person is characterised by an independent and precise way of working as well as a strong quality awareness and high reliability.
