Construction Manager with Estimation Experience 80-100%
Job Description:
As part of the planning consortium consisting of BIG and IB, you will actively participate in the planning and realization of the complex new building Dock A at Zurich Airport – a unique large-scale project running over a decade that requires individual and innovative solutions.
In this responsible role, you will prepare tender documents for public procurement procedures. Together with the project managers, you will optimize the tender process and create the tender schedule. You will independently manage the entire tender process, request tender documents in a timely manner, and review the tender plans for feasibility and cost requirements.
You will prepare the service descriptions according to NPK, manage the tendering and awarding processes, participate in bidder meetings, and monitor the awarding procedures.
What we expect from you:
Training and experience as a construction manager, structural technician
Ideally, you are a certified construction manager with at least 3 years of construction management experience in building construction in Switzerland
Enjoyment of work and willingness to perform above average
Good communication skills in spoken and written form
Independent, careful, and proactive working style with an eye for the essentials
Very good IT skills with industry-standard tools
Good German skills, additional language skills are an advantage
