Job Description

• Developing plant-specific software based on existing systems and concepts
• You implement, test, and commission the software according to process specifications, including documentation
• Point of contact for our major customers and ensuring optimal support for the warehouse management system
• Creating specifications and design documents
• Defining work packages and technical project plans
• Re-design, optimization, and maintenance of existing plant software while ensuring a deployment concept that maintains plant availability
• Developing migration projects and impact analysis for changes
• Software support for the warehouse management system (on-call service every 5-6 weeks)

Applicant Profile

• University degree or equivalent education in computer science
• Experience in software development with Java and solid knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL)
• You have some experience in technical project management
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
• As a customer-oriented personality, you are also available for assignments outside of normal working hours
• Willingness to travel for assignments throughout Switzerland and Europe (5%)
