Your Area of Responsibility

• Procurement of electrical and electromechanical semi-finished and finished products, trade parts and consumables
• Independent management of defined product groups in the field of electrical engineering
• Obtaining, analysing and comparing offers as well as conducting price and condition negotiations
• Triggering and monitoring orders as well as requesting, checking and documenting order confirmations; active assurance of material availability
• Checking technical requirements, drawings, specifications and parts lists regarding procurement feasibility, availability, quality and cost-effectiveness
• Building, managing and further developing a suitable supplier network for electrotechnical components
• Independent handling of smaller procurement projects including preparation and presentation of results
• Participation in the further development and implementation of automotive-compliant procurement processes along the supply chain
• Active participation, optimisation and further development of processes in interdisciplinary project teams
• Supplier evaluation and development as well as participation in supplier qualifications and audits
• Identification and implementation of cost, quarterly and supply potentials
• Technical and commercial coordination with engineering, design, production planning, production and quality

Your Advantages

• Completed commercial or technical basic training with further education in purchasing (e.g. purchasing specialist with federal certificate) or a comparable qualification
• An electrotechnical or electromechanical training is an advantage
• 3–5 years of professional experience in technical purchasing, ideally in vehicle construction (automotive), mechanical engineering or electromobility
• Ideally experience in the procurement of electrical and electromechanical components such as cable assembly, PCBA, sensors, actuators, connectors or battery systems
• Knowledge of automotive requirements and quality standards; ideally experience with IATF 16949 or Automotive Core Tools
• Confident appearance and enjoyment of direct supplier contact
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style; pronounced "hands-on" mentality
• Confident handling of ERP systems (ideally MS Dynamics 365 BC) and MS Office; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage
