Global Procurement Specialist

100% (m/f) · Kemptthal

In this exciting position, you will work in purchasing both as part of our day-to-day business and on project-related assignments. You will ensure smooth and timely procurement and make sure that all internal and external requirements are implemented efficiently.

Your area of responsibility

• Obtaining and evaluating offers, conducting negotiations including terms and contract management (compliance)
• Global procurement of goods and services in collaboration with specialist departments and international subsidiaries.
• Active international sourcing as well as selection, qualification and further development of suppliers
• Market, demand and cost analyses as well as implementation of savings and optimisation potentials
• Global coordination of all purchasing organisations
• Participation in cross-departmental projects
• Digitalisation, standardisation and continuous improvement of purchasing and import processes according to Kaizen principles

What you bring

• Several years of professional experience in purchasing and international environment & sourcing
• High technical understanding
• Strong negotiation skills, resilience, persistence and strong communication
• Pronounced organisational skills
• Established personality with passion
• Cost-conscious thinking as well as pronounced process and project understanding
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as confident communication in German and English; any additional language is an advantage
