About the job
Triesen, with around 5,600 inhabitants, is the third largest municipality in Liechtenstein. We strive to strengthen the community across different generations and cultures and to promote the participation of residents in social life. To this end, the municipality of Triesen is creating a specialist office for society, consisting of the areas of families and children as well as seniors. You will build up this specialist office as part of a two-person team. An exciting role with plenty of scope for creativity awaits you.
From January 2027 or by arrangement, we are looking for an Officer for Families and Children 40% - 50% for the specialist office for society - new appointment
Your tasks in the area of families and children
▪ Coordinating the "UNICEF Child-Friendly Municipality" initiative
▪ Planning and implementing measures from the action plan as well as new project ideas
▪ Providing information about offers for families with children in Triesen and in Liechtenstein
▪ Handling enquiries from parents and children
▪ Referring to authorities and organisations for in-depth advice and support if necessary
Your profile
▪ Education (FH/University or HF) in social work or pedagogy or equivalent training with relevant professional experience
▪ Knowledge of the social landscape in Liechtenstein
▪ Experience in concept and project work
▪ Approachable, open and communicative
▪ Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written
