This position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities:

In this position, you are responsible for the further development of our logistics team and the management of all logistical processes within the UPS organization in Switzerland. You play a key role in implementing our growth strategy and optimizing the supply chain.

The work model for this position is: #hybrid

Your main tasks:

• Direct leadership of our logistics team throughout Switzerland to plan, control, and monitor the flow of goods along the entire supply chain

• Supervision of the supply chain from order to delivery, including order processing and inventory management

• Identification and implementation of improvements regarding suppliers, costs, and logistical processes

• Creation and analysis of KPI reports on supply chain performance

Qualifications for the role:

• Several years of relevant professional experience in logistics and supply chain management, ideally with leadership experience

• Hands-on mentality as well as the ability to combine operational issues with strategic thinking

• Strong analytical skills and solid knowledge of logistics processes

• Experience in internal and external communication, including management of international interfaces

• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written (business fluent)

• Ability to lead teams across locations

• Experience with ERP systems and very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)

• Valid forklift license is an advantage
