This position reports to:
Service Manager
Your role and responsibilities:
In this position, you are responsible for the further development of our logistics team and the management of all logistical processes within the UPS organization in Switzerland. You play a key role in implementing our growth strategy and optimizing the supply chain.
The work model for this position is: #hybrid
Your main tasks:
Direct leadership of our logistics team throughout Switzerland to plan, control, and monitor the flow of goods along the entire supply chain
Supervision of the supply chain from order to delivery, including order processing and inventory management
Identification and implementation of improvements regarding suppliers, costs, and logistical processes
Creation and analysis of KPI reports on supply chain performance
Qualifications for the role:
Several years of relevant professional experience in logistics and supply chain management, ideally with leadership experience
Hands-on mentality as well as the ability to combine operational issues with strategic thinking
Strong analytical skills and solid knowledge of logistics processes
Experience in internal and external communication, including management of international interfaces
Very good German and English skills, spoken and written (business fluent)
Ability to lead teams across locations
Experience with ERP systems and very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
Valid forklift license is an advantage
