What is my role?

You take overall responsibility for the technical, personnel and financial management of the landfill. In doing so, you plan, coordinate and implement operational projects and ensure compliance with legal and environmental requirements including incoming inspections and chemical analyses. You coordinate the proper material installation and stage planning, ensure maintenance and availability of infrastructure and machinery, and bear responsibility for operational documentation and occupational safety. As the central contact person, you represent the company to authorities, municipalities, customers and internal departments.

What do I need to be successful?

You have a technical or construction-related basic education with business management further training or comparable qualification as well as several years of professional experience in the waste disposal, recycling or construction industry, ideally with leadership responsibility. Furthermore, you hold the specialist certificate for waste disposal facilities and/or the TAFE specialist course in landfill or are willing to complete this further training. You bring good knowledge of Swiss environmental and waste law. As an entrepreneurial, responsible and assertive personality, you convince with pronounced communication skills as well as an independent, structured and reliable way of working.
