Davos Instruments AG is a small high-tech company located in the Grisons mountains. We specialise in the highly precise measurement of solar radiation: we develop, produce and distribute reference instruments for solar radiation measurement worldwide. High quality and close contact with our international clientele distinguish us. The company is owned by founders and employees and offers interesting work and attractive conditions.We are a spin-off of the Physikalisch-Meteorologisches Observatorium Davos and World Radiation Center (PMOD/WRC) with which we maintain close collaboration and jointly engage with current scientific questions in the field of solar radiation.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for the following by arrangement:
Development Engineer 40 - 60% (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
• Further development (HW/SW) of our reference radiometer
• Design of test setups, execution and evaluation of experiments
• Collaboration in production and customer projects
Your profile:
• Completed studies (UNI/FH) in electrical engineering, systems engineering, physics, computer science or related fields
• Solid programming skills, ideally in web applications (Java, JavaScript), embedded (c/c++) and data analysis (Python)
• Knowledge of electronics
• Experimental skills or experience in conducting (laboratory) experiments
• Willingness to independently acquire new knowledge
• Good German & English skills
