On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100,000 people, we work with great commitment, low-threshold access and networking in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counselling, mother and father counselling, addiction counselling and school social work.
Clerk Administration KESB (Maternity Cover)
The KESB administration manages reception and administrative tasks for the KESB. This includes maintaining client files as well as all secretarial duties to relieve the authority and the supporting teams.
As part of a maternity cover, we are looking for a Clerk Administration from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement, limited until approximately June 2027.
Your tasks
- Overall operational tasks coordinated and carried out by the KESB administration clerk (operation and management of the telephone system as well as public contact)
- Telephone and direct contact with clients, third parties, institutions, authorities, etc.
- Mail processing (incoming and outgoing mail, case intake, etc.)
- Administrative case management (registry, file management, filing, archiving, data maintenance, correspondence, completion of delegated work, etc.)
- Preparation of documents for authority meetings
- Issuing and dispatching decisions
- Statistical work (software KLIBnet)
Your profile
- Commercial training with a Federal VET Diploma and several years of professional experience
- Experience in administration, courts or law firms is an advantage
- Very good communication skills as well as a professional appearance and confident demeanour
- Experience dealing with authorities and people in difficult life situations as well as an interest in social issues
- Willingness to take responsibility and withstand pressure situations
- Discretion and trustworthiness in daily business
- Motivation to carry out complex and demanding, but also simple tasks conscientiously and efficiently
- A flair for PC work, very good Office skills including Excel and Outlook
- Confident German language skills, fluency in spoken (including dialect) and written language
