Designer Production Aids Microelectronics (a)

Microdul AG in the heart of Zurich employs around 100 staff and specialises in the development and manufacture of high-quality microelectronic solutions. With the business divisions Modules, Semiconductors and Thick Film we develop and produce miniaturised electronic circuits for demanding applications. Our core competence lies in the development and production of miniaturised electronic circuits, realised in close cooperation with our customers - mainly in medical technology. For the Module Development department, we are looking for a new team member by arrangement.

• Development and design of production aids, fixtures and tools for the manufacture of microelectronic assemblies using 3D-CAD
• Development of new concepts for manufacturing, assembly and testing processes
• Optimisation of existing production aids in terms of precision, ergonomics, throughput, process reliability and manufacturing costs
• Planning and execution of technical verifications of new designs
• Close cooperation with production, process development and quality assurance
• Support and coordination of external suppliers of precision parts and special tools
• Active participation in the continuous improvement of production processes (CIP)

• Completed training as a polymechanic EFZ or designer EFZ with further training as a technician HF microtechnology, mechatronics or a comparable qualification
• 3+ years of experience in the design of precision mechanics as well as in prototype construction
• Very good knowledge of 3D-CAD systems (e.g. Inventor or SolidWorks)
• Practical experience in machining and3D printing
• Knowledge of technical drawing according to ISOGPS
• Ideally experience in microelectronics manufacturing
• Creative, innovative and solution-oriented personality
• High precision, quality awareness and structured working method
• Team player with a hands-on mentality and enjoyment in developing technical solutions
• Basic knowledge of PCB layout with Altium Designer or comparable EDA software is an advantage.
