Every year, we look for around 500 dual students in 25 different degree programmes who want to make the railway a little better with us day by day. Join in: We offer you attractive benefits, a fixed contact person, and a great team by your side. And after successful training, you have excellent chances of being taken on!
Responsibilities
You want to combine theory and practice from the start – and at the same time actively contribute to the sustainable expansion of infrastructure in Germany – then the dual study programme in railway engineering with us is exactly right for you, because with your know-how you ensure that Germany stays mobile!
From 1 September 2027, we are looking for you for the 3-year dual study programme for a Bachelor of Engineering in Railway Engineering with a focus on IT (m/f/d) at DB InfraGO AG in Koblenz. You will complete your theory phases at the Technical University of Central Hesse in Gießen / Friedberg. During lecture-free periods, you will work with us in the company.
What to expect:

Engineering fundamentals (mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, technical mechanics and computer science)
Your focus will be on information technology, where you will learn in-depth knowledge about control and safety technologies as well as electronic and digital signal boxes
Practical phase content
You will be deployed in the area of construction supervision and will spend a lot of time outdoors on our construction sites
Comprehensive insight into the essential areas of the railway system and railway infrastructure
You will participate in various projects, e.g. in the planning of railway facilities, as well as in the planning and expansion of telecommunications
Skills
Your profile:
You have (soon) successfully completed your (technical) A-levels or have a corresponding professional qualification (professionally qualified applicants must meet the requirements for enrolment at THM)
Maths and physics are your favourite subjects and you also enjoy computer science

You are communicative and appreciate teamwork
Goal-oriented and independent work is natural for you
For this position, you will undergo an aptitude test as part of the selection process. On our career page, you can find out everything about the background, procedure and ideal preparation.
