This is the job

• You design scalable, secure and economical architectures for AI solutions, especially in the areas of GenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic AI.
• You translate business requirements into viable technical AI solution concepts and advise our clients on the selection of suitable AI services, tools and frameworks.
• You design data and integration architectures and ensure connectivity to cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) as well as to existing enterprise systems.
• You establish best practices in MLOps/LLMOps, systematic testing (Evals), guardrails, monitoring and cost control of AI solutions.
• You consider data protection, information security, responsible AI and regulatory requirements (e.g. EU AI Act) from the outset in your architectures.
• You work closely with data scientists, engineers, business units and management, act as a bridge between business and technology and convincingly represent architecture decisions up to C-level.
• You actively contribute to the further development of our AI offering, support acquisition, proposals and client presentations and share your knowledge within the team.

This job is for you if

• You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, data science, engineering or a comparable qualification.
• You have several years of professional experience in the architecture and implementation of software, data or AI solutions, ideally in consulting.
• You possess sound knowledge in generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases and common frameworks (e.g. Microsoft Agent Framework, LangChain, LangGraph).
• You have practical experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms and their AI services (e.g. Microsoft Foundry with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI).
• You are proficient in programming languages such as Python and familiar with APIs, microservices, containerisation and CI/CD.
• You understand security, data protection and governance aspects of AI systems and incorporate them into your solutions.
• You can communicate complex technical contexts clearly and convincingly to different target groups, from the development team to C-level.
• You speak German and English fluently.

As a cherry on top, you bring

• Experience in building agent solutions: multi-agent orchestration, MCP (Model Context Protocol), Evals and human-in-the-loop
• Experience with data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Databricks) to connect AI solutions to the enterprise data landscape
