Would you like to make a significant contribution to the overall modernisation of railway technology and the implementation of ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) at SZU? These are your tasks

• You lead demanding projects within the ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) programme in the field of signal box technology and train control ETCS Level 2 and ensure that the projects are implemented according to the SZU 4.0-standard.
• You lead and coordinate internal and external specialist departments such as infrastructure, operations, authorities, track builders, electrical companies, signalling system partners, planners, etc.
• You ensure that work is carried out in compliance with contracts and safety regulations.
• You ensure that costs, deadlines and quality are defined at the start of the project and adhered to throughout all project phases.

These are your key competencies

• You are an engineer FH/ETH in electrical engineering or have a comparable qualification.
• You have proven experience in project management and leading demanding railway signalling system projects.
• You have knowledge in the field of railway signalling systems and understand the interaction with other subsystems on the track side and vehicle side.
• TSI, AB-EBV and RTE guidelines are familiar to you.
• You can assert yourself in difficult situations and safeguard SZU’s interests vis-à-vis other contracting parties.
• You work independently and solution-oriented, are resilient and convince with your interdisciplinary thinking and working style.
