Intern in Climate and Environmental Communication (80–100%, limited to 12 months)
The Department of Security and Environment with its 440 employees includes the areas of environmental and health protection, city police, protection & intervention, and registration and civil status services as well as the city magistrate's office.Your Tasks
From 1 July 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for you, an open personality with enthusiasm for tasks in climate and environmental communication and a penchant for creative visual communication. During a year as an intern, you will be involved in the following tasks:- Collaboration in public relations with a focus on climate and environmental protection
- Management of social media platforms on the topics of climate (consumption, nutrition, mobility, housing) and environmental protection: conception, content creation, editorial work and community management
- Conception and co-organisation of events, communication activities and campaigns
- Leading communication projects
- General support of the department in communication, climate and environmental protection matters
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or close to completing a degree in environmental and/or communication sciences or an equivalent qualification
- Solid knowledge and interest in climate and environmental protection topics
- Flair for social media, visual and digital communication
- Affinity for graphic design, knowledge of graphic and video tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, etc.)
- Good and articulate written and oral expression
