To strengthen our team in Visp, Switzerland, we are currently looking for a
Employee for Device Support Laboratory Technician Support in Quality Control in daily operations.
As an employee in Device Support within Quality Control, you play a crucial role in ensuring stable and efficient laboratory processes. In this versatile technical role, you support our QC team by ensuring the functionality of our laboratory instruments, thereby making a direct contribution to the quality of our products and the success of our customers.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Support and ensure smooth operational processes within QC
- Main responsibility for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of chromatography devices
- Ensure the correct functionality of all laboratory instruments
- Responsibility for instrument qualification including organization and filing of documentation (electronically and physically) according to specifications in LIMS
- Communication with device suppliers as well as organization of services and repairs including initiating the corresponding SAP orders
- Creation and improvement of relevant work instructions
- Active support of the QC strategy and participation in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification & experience:
- Completed vocational training, preferably as a chemical laboratory technician or in a technical/craft profession (e.g., mechanic)
- Teamwork skills, responsibility, resilience, and strong communication skills
- High quality awareness as well as efficient and reliable working style
- Good comprehension and independent, structured working style
- Confident handling of potentially hazardous substances
- Good PC skills (standard software)
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form; basic English skills are an advantage
- Technical interest and enjoyment in working with fine and sensitive equipment
