About the job
The municipality of Zermatt has around 6,000 inhabitants. It is the largest tourist municipality in the Alpine region. Around 170 employees ensure extensive public service.
The electric bus operation transports passengers with its 10 buses within the village area of Zermatt on two different circular routes. The green line serves all valley stations of the mountain railways, and the red line connects the Winkelmatten outer district with the village.
Within the e-bus operation team, consisting of 10 permanent and 5 seasonal employees, a seasonal position is newly available. We are looking for you from December 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027 as:
E-Bus Driver
(fixed-term - 100%)
Your Responsibilities
- Transporting passengers on the Winkelmatten line as well as the mountain railway line
- Providing information to passengers
- Cleaning and inspecting the vehicles
Your Skills
- As a conscientious and resilient person, you hold a category D driving license as well as the necessary driver qualification certificate
- German language skills are required
- Good foreign language skills and professional experience are an advantage
