Project Manager in Product Development

What you will achieve

• Co-manage product development and renovation projects with marketing, from the creation of the first prototypes to the validation of the industrial phase
• Identify and evaluate new ingredients, technologies and suppliers to enrich the innovation portfolio in collaboration with Purchasing
• Design and optimise complex formulations in the categories of beverages, desserts, fermented products and plant-based alternatives
• Provide scientific expertise on protein functionalities (solubility, viscosity, gelation, foaming, emulsification, stability and interactions with other ingredients)
• Conduct, organise and analyse laboratory, pilot and industrial trials
• Ensure achievement of quality, cost, technical performance and deadline objectives

What you bring

• Education: Higher education
• Specialisation: in food science, food technology, biotechnology or process engineering
• Professional experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in food product development
• Proven experience in dairy products and/or plant-based alternatives
• Experience managing cross-functional projects in an industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of functional ingredients and particularly dairy proteins (caseins, whey proteins, protein concentrates and isolates)
• Understanding of industrial processes such as pasteurisation, UHT, homogenisation, fermentation and heat treatments
• Knowledge of SAP tools, especially the EH&S and PLM modules
• Industrial curiosity and application of technologies
• Cross-functional leadership and ability to unite multidisciplinary teams
• Responsiveness, autonomy and results orientation
