The physiotherapy team is an essential part of the interdisciplinary sports medicine competence centre "Medical Center Wankdorf (MCW)".
The holistic range of services extends from prevention, check-ups, diagnostics (radiology and sports laboratory), medical consultations concerning the musculoskeletal system, sports physiotherapy to performance diagnostics and rehabilitation. Physiotherapy consists of three specialist teams and is responsible for the optimal care of inpatients both on an outpatient basis at the MCW and in the Bern Hirslanden Clinics Beau-Site and Salem Hospital. To complement our team, we are looking for a qualified physiotherapist for inpatient physiotherapy.

YOUR TASKS

• You treat inpatients from various specialties (cardiac, thoracic and visceral surgery, internal medicine, ICU) at Beau-Site Bern

• Additionally, you are interested in other specialties, especially in orthopaedics and spinal surgery, which are mainly based at Salem Hospital
• Optionally (only with a workload of at least 60%), treatment of outpatients from various specialties, mainly in the musculoskeletal area, is also part of your duties
• You are responsible for the professional and independent care of your patients, taking into account their individual needs
• Together with your team, you provide weekend duties on a regular rota

YOUR PROFILE

• You have completed training as a physiotherapist (Diploma HF, FH, SRK recognition)
• Ideally, you also have experience in treating inpatients and outpatients

• Further training in manual lymphatic drainage and/or internal medicine/ICU is an advantage

• You appreciate teamwork, are flexible, resilient and have a motivated personality
