With an impressive variety of services, our work touches all areas of life, be it education, economy, law, security, nature, health, construction, culture, and finance. Through our meaningful work, we leave a small footprint every day, as it is relevant to over half a million people.
In Forest Region 1 St.Gallen, the northernmost of five forest regions in the canton of St.Gallen, lies the newly emerging Glatt-Thur forest district (a merger of the Flawil, Oberbüren, and Uzwil forest districts) in a rural area yet close to the agglomeration. It is characterised by productive, well-developed forests. Protection forest, recreational forest, and forests prioritising biodiversity alternate in close interconnection.
