• Inspires the creation of added value and limitation of risks during contract drafting
• Commercial contract analysis within the framework of customer tenders
• Prepares concise analyses for management decisions and shares knowledge with the company team
• Supports project management & procurement with contractual questions during the execution of ongoing orders
• Contact person for contractual and legal questions
• Contributes to compliance with essential company policies
• Optimises the contract management system of the Signalling division

• Industrial engineer or university engineer with solid further training in contract law, alternatively BLaw/MLaw with good technical understanding
• Applied experience of more than 10 years; has accompanied contracts of major orders in detail both in offers and project execution
• Experience with customer claims
• Familiar with public tenders and IFIs; knows international practices
• Experience in project management function with commercial responsibility in major projects is an advantage
• Industry knowledge: preferably railway, but also power plant construction, shipbuilding, aircraft construction, other large-scale plant construction
• Very good German and English skills, additional foreign languages (specifically French) are an advantage
• Pragmatic, reliable, eager to learn, proactive & conveys/shares knowledge
• High commitment and independence, navigates confidently in a complex business environment
