The Küsnacht school offers lunch, day, and holiday care for around 1,000 children from 1st kindergarten to 6th primary class in four school-complementary care facilities (KICK). The children are cared for during non-teaching times and school holidays.

In the care facility KICK Dorf, around 180 children with diverse social and cultural backgrounds are cared for weekly. To support the care team, we are looking for you from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement as a new group leader.

Your tasks

  • Your working hours: Monday to Thursday 09:30 – 18:00
  • Educational and organisational leadership of kindergarten levels 1 and 2
  • Promotion of children in social and emotional areas in close cooperation with the care team
  • Leadership of a multi-person care team of 4-6 employees
  • Collaboration with parents, school team, and the municipality

Your profile

  • You have completed training as a social pedagogue, FaBe childcare with additional pedagogical training, or hold a Swiss diploma recognition for a comparable foreign diploma
  • Professional experience in caring for groups of children in kindergarten and primary school age and already experience as a group leader
  • Positive view of people, quality awareness, teamwork, resilience, and independence
  • Very good oral and written German skills (minimum C1); English skills are an advantage
  • Ideally, training as a vocational trainer
