In this role, you will work in the Construction department within the Production division.

Your mission

As part of the upcoming implementation of a major expansion project in the field of hydropower in Valais, the new Construction department is being established. Your task is to build up the resources and competencies, including the creation of client processes. You will take on the technical and personnel leadership of the Construction team and be actively involved in the project organisation. You are responsible for a targeted and long-term development of the Construction department.

Your profile

• University degree (ETH or FH) in a technical field (hydraulic engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) or equivalent education
• More than 10 years of experience in project management in the realisation of interdisciplinary large-scale infrastructure projects (major projects focusing on industry and energy)
• More than 5 years of leadership experience
• Experience and in-depth commercial and legal knowledge in contract management during the realisation phase
• Organisational, planning and coordination skills; editorial skills
• Ability to handle stress
• Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team of employees; participative leadership
• Communication skills, sensitivity and negotiation skills.
• Native German or French speaker with excellent knowledge of the other language (C1). Very good English skills (B2).
