The AR Hospital Network
The Appenzell Ausserrhoden Hospital Network, with the Herisau Acute Hospital and the AR Psychiatric Centre in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Nursing Department under the nursing management of Ms Dragica Novakovic, we are seeking immediately or by arrangement a Health Specialist for the interdisciplinary ward with a focus on Internal Medicine for a workload of 50-100%.
Your tasks
- Holistic and individual care and support of interdisciplinary patients in close cooperation with the qualified nursing staff
- Ensuring a high quality of care and service in accordance with our mission statement
- Professional advice and support for relatives
- Ongoing documentation of the care process
- Administrative tasks
Your profile
- You have completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ (Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence) or as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ
- Alternatively, you have training as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ
- Initial professional experience in a hospital environment is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Interest in the care of interdisciplinary patients
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
- A positive and team-oriented attitude
- You are a communicative and open personality who places the patient at the centre
