Job Description
As Front Office & Reservation Manager (m/f/d), you ensure a warm welcome for guests with your organisational talent and genuine empathy – from a smooth booking process to check-out.
You lead your team with empathy and clarity, creating a motivating work environment. Your standard: a seamless operation and a professional appearance that leaves a lasting impression on guests.
In addition, your responsibilities include:
- Conducting check-ins as well as receiving and processing reservations, including checking bookings, overbookings, and options
- Monitoring cost and lodging revenue budgets
- Ensuring quality standards and maintaining the quality management system
- Training, motivating, and leading the Front Office & Reservation team
- Creating duty and holiday rosters
- Conducting internal coaching, cross-training, and planning training sessions for staff development
- Developing trainees
- Close collaboration with the sales department and hotel manager
Qualifications
Do you like taking responsibility and being a role model? Are you characterised by personality and pronounced hospitality qualities? – You fit with us! Because that is our top priority! Additionally, you bring:
- Training in hotel management or at least 2 years of professional experience in the hotel or catering industry, or interest in a career change (for example, with several years of experience as a team leader in the service sector)
- Enjoyment in developing employees and initial leadership experience required
- Hospitality qualities and passion for the hotel industry as well as a high awareness of quality and service orientation
- Open, communicative manner, good manners, and good command of German & English (spoken & written)
- Team spirit and willingness to support across departments – We achieve our successes together!
