About the job

- SEEO98
- The OSCO implements the cantonal school policy in the fields of pedagogy and schooling. It ensures the monitoring, coordination and development of services related to compulsory education, student assessment and school system monitoring. It collaborates with schools, cantonal authorities and relevant partners to guarantee the quality and smooth functioning of Neuchâtel schools.
As a project officer for school-family relations, you contribute to strengthening dialogue and cooperation between compulsory schools, families and educational partners, with a view to student success and well-being.
In collaboration with school centres, you develop relationships with families, promote clear school-parent communication and support schools in building regular dialogue with parents. You also coordinate links between institutional and associative partners and the canton.
Finally, you participate in the development of resources, the organisation of training and exchanges, as well as targeted actions to support less engaged families and prevent inequalities.
Holder of a bachelor’s degree (HEP/HES/UNI) in teaching, social work or social sciences or an equivalent qualification, you have proven professional experience in the school or educational field.
You have a good knowledge of compulsory schooling and an interest in school-family relations. Strong coordination, communication, writing and networking skills, as well as ease with digital tools, complete your profile.
Experience in facilitating working groups and collaborative approaches is an asset. Finally, you demonstrate autonomy, organisational skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
