About the job

The Madame Charles Eynard-Eynard Foundation is a specialised education institution whose mission is to support and assist children and adolescents of compulsory school age presenting various learning difficulties, with or without associated disorders. It provides the following services:

Specialised teaching, speech therapy, psychology, psychomotricity and socio-educational support
Midday meal and extracurricular care

To support our current team by expanding our on-call substitute list, we are looking for several:

Substitutes

In the following roles: Specialised Teacher, Educator or Socio-educational Assistant

Your mission, in a specialised school environment, is to provide interventions with pupils related to the socio-educational dimension that is part of each pupil’s individual plan. Your role is to provide support that promotes social integration and autonomy of the pupils. Working in an interdisciplinary team and with families is an important component of the position.

Conditions: CCT, Vaud parapublic social sector
Hours: based on a school timetable according to demand

Your profile: - Master’s degree in specialised teaching or an equivalent qualification or
- Diploma as a social educator HES or ES, or
- Federal VET Diploma as a socio-educational assistant or an equivalent qualification
- Skills and interest in working in an interdisciplinary team
- Knowledge of ASD disorders and current support practices

If you hold a diploma recognised in Switzerland in one of these roles or are in the process of obtaining one, enjoy working with children and appreciate multidisciplinary teamwork, you have the qualities we are looking for. Several years of experience in this field is an advantage.
