• The Watch Case Finisher is responsible for giving a perfect aesthetic to the constituent parts of a watch such as cases, case backs, bracelet links, clasps or jewellery pieces using various supports (cloth discs, brushes) covered with abrasive material. They perform their tasks manually using specific tools.
• For 3 years, our dual training is provided internally by our experienced Training Manager, in connection with the technical vocational school of Porrentruy.

• Learning the organisation and preparation of work according to instructions and operating sequences;
• Learning the meticulous preparation of parts from machining, by deburring and correcting surfaces to obtain a perfectly clean and regular base;
• Learning different types of surface finishes such as mirror polishing, satin finishing, microblasting, using tools (cloth polishing disc with abrasive paste, satin brush, compressed microbead air) and specific machines.
• Carrying out rigorous visual and dimensional checks to verify the uniformity of finishes, absence of defects and compliance with high standards.

• Keen interest in mechanics, technical drawing and metalworking.
