Task
In this 12-month cooperative internship, you combine analytical and strategic consulting work at KPMG with practical insights at the University Children’s Hospital of both Basel. You will get to know the Swiss healthcare system and the public sector from two perspectives and develop a profound understanding of complex issues at the interface of strategy, organisation and care.
How you will advance KPMG
- Advise clients in healthcare (mainly service providers) and in the public sector on various strategic, operational and systemic issues such as the optimal design of organisational structure and processes
- Support on financial matters such as the development or optimisation of cost accounting, budgeting and reporting
- Conduct data analyses and prepare evaluations
- Support our team in the preparation of specialist articles and presentations
Why you will be successful
- At least 4 semesters in business administration, economics, computer science or business informatics
- Strong analytical thinking as well as conceptual and methodological skills
- Interest in current developments and challenges of the Swiss healthcare system and the public sector
- Communicative, customer-oriented and persuasive personality
- Very good German and English skills, French skills are a great plus
