Les EMS du Mandement Sàrl consists of 3 medico-social establishments:
- Résidence La Plaine accommodates 92 residents of AVS age dependent physically and mentally.
- Résidence Mandement accommodates 45 residents of AVS age.
- Villa Mandement accommodates 30 residents under 65 years old with mental disorders.

Our mission is to animate and develop a living space, as well as to provide services that meet the needs and aspirations of residents and their relatives, respecting the standards, norms and ethics prevailing in the field.
Résidence La Plaine is looking for a Support Team Member, as soon as possible, on a permanent contract at 60-80%.
Job description
Résidence La Plaine, as part of increasing its staff, aims for an innovative mission focused on the residents’ daily rhythm.
To strengthen our support system, we are creating a dedicated team ensuring extended presence between 8am and 9pm or 10pm, according to 12-hour shifts.
Your mission
This versatile role combines care and animation skills. It is structured around three key times of the day:
Morning: care and support
You provide a full care group to residents, with the unit’s AS team (5 to 7 residents).
- Nursing and hygiene care
- Assistance with mobilisation and transfers
- Support in daily living activities
- Observation of residents’ general condition
- Participation in transmitting useful information to the team
Afternoon: animation and social life
From 1:30pm to 5pm, you work outside of care, animate and support small groups of residents within a programme developed with the ICUS and the animation manager:
- Therapeutic garden
- Walking group
- Cognitive stimulation activities
- Creative or occupational workshops
- Local animations on the floors
You also participate in developing and adapting this fixed animation schedule according to residents’ interests and abilities.
Evening: personalised support
You support a small group of residents (8 to 10 maximum) who wish or need a more flexible and later rhythm:
- Support for delayed evening meal
- Evening animations or convivial moments
- Individualised support
- Assistance with going to bed and comfort care as needed
- Respect for residents’ life habits and choices
Profile sought
Required conditions
- Holder of an AFP ASA (not obtained by VAE) or equivalent recognised qualification, ASQ (DEAS)
- Current activity rate of 60 to 80%
- Availability for staggered hours (8:00am to 10:00pm to be defined)

Animation skills
- Strong interest in animation and social life of residents
- Ability to lead a small group activity

- Ability to adapt activities to participants’ abilities and desires
- Aptitude to encourage participation and maintain social ties
