About the job
The University Clinic for Medical Oncology combines highly specialised patient care with research, teaching, and innovation. We offer all services for diagnosis, therapy planning, tumour treatment, and follow-up care for cancer diseases.
What to expect
- Psychological support for patients with cancer and their relatives in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Conducting psycho-oncological conversations and psychotherapeutic interventions under professional supervision
- Support in coping with disease-related burdens, anxieties, and depressive symptoms
- Support for patients with existential questions in curative and palliative treatment contexts
- Close interprofessional collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, social workers, chaplaincy, and other specialist disciplines
- Active contribution to holistic, patient-centred care by bringing in your psychological expertise
What you bring
- Master's degree in Psychology
- Started training in Psychotherapy
- Interest in psycho-oncology and supporting people with cancer
- Enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration in a university environment
- Empathetic personality with strong social and communication skills
- Independent, responsible, and reflective working style
