About the job

The Financial Control of the City of Winterthur is the supreme body of financial supervision of the city. We audit the offices and departments of the administration with regard to regularity, legality and economic efficiency, thereby supporting the City Parliament and the City Council in their supervisory activities. Are you a team player, flexible and curious? Are you looking for an extremely varied and responsible role? From 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for reinforcement.

Your Tasks

Independently conducting audits of financial supervision
Analysing processes, projects and organisational units from economic,
legal and financial-technical perspectives
Collaborating in the audit of the city accounts
Oral and written reporting to the audited bodies

Your Profile

University/University of Applied Sciences degree in Business Administration, Business Law or
Business Informatics
2-3 years of professional experience (internal or external audit)
Experience in public administration is an advantage
Enjoyment and interest in a very broad range of tasks
Strong analytical skills, process-oriented thinking and independent working style
Confident German language skills, both spoken and written
